Recently the HTC Flyer (and the EVO View 4G) get Honeycomb updated. However, the update is not entirely by users like Flyer, one of them because of the absence of the HTC Sense.
Because of that, many Flyer users who intend to return to Gingerbread. For users who are already quite an expert, of course it is not difficult, simply by downloading the firmware & flash congenital (Bill), then the HTC Flyer will return to Gingerbread.
For the novice user, the affairs of flashing felt quite daunting, especially there is a possibility that such devices (Flyer) will be bricked (not used at all). Therefore, the HTC-Hub.com (one blog about HTC) took the initiative to ask how to downgrade the Flyer to Gingerbread to the HTC, and get an answer that is quite surprising.
HTC Party stated that the Flyer users can bring their tablets to Customer Service to downgraded to Gingerbread. Then, the HTC gives another answer, that advise users to wait for the Ice Cream Sandwich updates on their Flyer tablets. It could be good news for the HTC Flyer users, given previous HTC parties through their Facebook accounts to tell the list of devices that will be gets the Ice Cream Sandwich update, but without the name HTC Flyer in the list.
There has been no official confirmation of the HTC does indeed the Ice Cream Sandwich update will be available for the Flyer, but at least their side (through customer service) to answer the 'hidden' about the Ice Cream Sandwich update.
